Recently married Sappho (Avalon Barrie) can't imagine a more perfect union than the passionate relationship she shares with her sensitive husband. That is, until they spend the summer on the Greek island of Lesbos, where Sappho meets the intoxicating Helene (Lyudmila Shiryaeva).
